HISTORICAL SPOTLIGHT:
LAWRENCE W. SINGER
Lawrence Wilfred Singer, born May 6th, 1975, gained infamy as the first in a series of “American National Terrorist”, or, ‘internal terrorist’ as the documents of the time labeled them. However, once his history was investigated, the picture painted by the Administration of President Mesbethe was quickly proven to be a simple fabrication.

Singer had been set up as a ‘crisis actor’ in the approved media at the time. Mr. Singer had even recorded a video to explain his actions. That video (no longer available for distribution) was widely panned by professionals in Psychology, Cranial Medicine, and Counseling, as being a product of PTSD, coercion, and drug-induced catatonia. However, upon its release, it was not subject to scrutiny by multiple media sources, or any noted professionals; those who did object to the official explanation of Singer’s diatribe were ‘given jobs’ in the Corporate Camps.

As the strength of the resistance grew, private investigations found that Larry Singer was a willing pawn, in a plot almost too large to fathom. Belgian Agent Sacha Muller, working to decode one of the few remaining off-shore American data storage nodes, de-crypted and restored a secretly recorded conversation between Singer and his “handlers”, as they planned the incident.
‘Will this Save my Country? My Family?’
[Handler]: “You’ve received your instructions, correct?”
[Singer]: “Yes, sir. But… I just don’t know.”
[Handler]: “We’ve been over this many, many times, Larry. You’re not going to back on your country again, are you, Larry?”
[Singer]: “No! No, it’s just… “
[Handler]: “Just what? Just like it was in ‘Iraqi Freedom’”
[Singer]: “That was different. You know that was different.”
[pause]
[Handler]: “OK. Let me put it another way, Captain Singer. You went AWOL at the beginning of your last tour of duty in Iraq. Once the conflict was over, you resurfaced, received a Dishonorable Discharge, and went to the brig for two years.”
[Singer]: “Yeah. And I’m not proud of that, but I’ve paid my dues.”
[Handler]: “No, you haven’t. You got off Scott free from finishing your actual service, and you OWE the US Government one last mission”.
[pause]
[Singer]: “Will this save my Country? My family? Is this what really has to happen?”
[Handler]: “These animals are not Americans, Larry. They are taxing the system, and taking away from your family. By taking out the garbage, Larry, you alone can help make America safe again; safe for your children.”

Grangier’s ‘Ultragraph’; Planting the Seeds
Obtaining the recorded conversation between Singer and his unknown Government contact was difficult enough; getting it in front of the American People was another matter all together. The resistance had discovered a filtering system that had been put in place for internet traffic, and it seemed to be on every server on the continent. While the secured network was available through direct satellite up-links, getting the word out to the masses was the issue.

A solution was discovered by Mrs. Alberta Grangier in the fall of 2019. She devised a system that introduced an analogue component – a modified, home-made telegraph – to transmit messages in a shorthand binary. The actual tapping of the telegraph portion of the device was computer controlled, and vastly more efficient than the performance a human could offer. Over a period of months, resistance members covertly traveled the country, helping to set up a system of ‘off the web’ computers, and physical ‘runners’. With the addition of a ham radio to Mrs. Grangier’s ‘Ultragraph’, the resistance now had a secure method of communication. Since the code was going faster than any human could, it would take another computer – one that knew exactly what it was looking for – to even find the coded transmissions. Anyone monitoring the radio waves would only hear random static.
The Dead Speak; The Resistance Roars
October 31st, 2019 was the date agreed upon to transmit the evidence of Government involvement with Larry Singer. Since the discovery of the initial recording, more information had come to light; it seemed that all the men who’d taken part in the barrage of ‘internal terrorism’ were former military, with less-than-stellar service records. Additional files were recovered by the group of hackers known only as ‘Anonymous’, and had been provided to the resistance through their UK contacts.

On Thursday, October 31st, 2019, at 4:34pm, the combined global resources of White Hats, Black Hats, Anonymous, and MI5, were used to temporarily ‘pass control’ of the Federal Database for News Sources (17) over to the resistance. But instead of transmitting their data at that moment, Grangier and others had come up with a better plan.

Using the short window of access granted to them, the Resistance uploaded their reports and recordings into the news web, giving the files names and hash keys that would overwrite the stories scheduled to air later that evening. The Resistance would use the Government’s propaganda machine and fake news system against them.
